Job Title: Product Specialist 5 (AI Chatbot Developer)

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 4 Months

Position Overview

The Client is seeking an experienced AI Engineer / AI Chatbot Developer to design, develop, and maintain intelligent chatbot and generative AI solutions. The role focuses on building conversational AI using Microsoft Bot Framework, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Cloud Contact Center AI (CCAI), and AWS services, while also supporting and modernizing SharePoint On-Prem applications to M365.

The ideal candidate will deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly AI solutions that improve customer experience and workforce efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI chatbot and generative AI solutions using Microsoft and Google platforms
  • Build conversational agents integrated with APIs, web services, and enterprise systems
  • Develop and modernize SharePoint 2016 On-Prem applications to M365 solutions
  • Architect end-to-end chatbot solutions, including conversational flow, user experience, and system integrations
  • Implement NLP techniques, prompt engineering, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches
  • Develop and deploy generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and other AWS services
  • Train, test, deploy, and monitor AI models and chatbot performance
  • Create dashboards and reports to analyze chatbot usage, accuracy, and performance
  • Design human-like, intuitive conversational flows
  • Build Copilot plugins, custom copilots, and agents using Copilot Studio
  • Automate workflows using Power Automate and integrate AI-driven logic
  • Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and enterprise data sources
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for emerging AI technologies
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and State of Ohio AI governance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and governance teams
  • Produce technical documentation using Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience developing AI chatbots using Microsoft Bot Framework (mandatory)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Contact Center AI (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure Bot Service, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Language Services, Semantic Kernel, and Microsoft Graph API
  • Experience building Generative AI solutions and prompt engineering
  • Knowledge of AWS AI services, including AWS Bedrock
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Python
  • Experience with M365 technologies (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience supporting and modernizing SharePoint 2016 On-Prem applications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead discussions with business stakeholders and present technical solutions

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master s preferred)
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of .NET development experience
  • 3+ years of AI chatbot development using Microsoft Bot Framework or Google CCAI
  • 2+ years of SharePoint experience
  • 1+ year of Power Platform solution development
  • Experience across at least two IT disciplines (application development, databases, middleware, infrastructure, or operations)
