Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS Finance Functional Lead to provide leadership and hands-on support for a global Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.3 environment. The ideal candidate will lead the Finance functional support track, driving L2/L3 incident resolution, root cause analysis, process stabilization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across key finance modules.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for Finance-related issues, manage service tickets via ServiceNow, participate in CAB/RCA meetings, and coordinate with technical, integration, and business teams to ensure service continuity and process integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead functional support for Oracle EBS Finance modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, Tax, Cash Management, Vertex, and OneSource.
Own resolution of complex incidents and defects (L2/L3), coordinating across technical and integration teams.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and propose process/stabilization improvements.
Represent the Finance track in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings, providing impact analysis and recommendations.
Drive continuous improvement through SOP creation, documentation updates, and user communication.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior functional consultants and offshore support teams.
Ensure end-to-end process alignment for Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and financial integrations.
Collaborate with integration teams for third-party solutions (e.g., Vertex, OneSource, Checkpoint, B2B).
Support peak financial periods (e.g., month/quarter/year-end close cycles) with high availability and responsiveness.
Cross-functional understanding of key Oracle EBS business processes including Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules such as Inventory, Planning, Warehouse Management, and Fulfillment

Required Skills and Experience

8 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Finance modules as a functional consultant or lead.
Strong understanding of core financial processes: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Tax/EBTax.
Deep experience in incident management, support ticket resolution (L2/L3), and business user collaboration.
Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and standard EBS diagnostics.
Experience with tax engines like Vertex and reporting integrations like OneSource.
Demonstrated ability to analyze system behavior across multiple integrated modules and provide solution recommendations.
Hands-on experience using ServiceNow for ITSM/ticketing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Financials Cloud or EBS certifications (GL, AP, AR, FA, Tax).
Experience with multilingual/multi-currency deployments in EBS (Chinese, Japanese, English).
Exposure to global delivery models and collaboration with onshore/offshore teams.
Familiarity with finance regulations and tax compliance reporting.
ITIL knowledge and experience working within structured AMS/ITSM environments.

Soft Skills & Leadership

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead RCA discussions and solution workshops.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and stakeholder reporting.
Comfortable working in high-pressure support scenarios
Experience mentoring junior consultants and coordinating with cross-functional teams (SCM, integrations, DBA, etc.).

Shift & Location Flexibility

Willingness to support weekends and holidays during business-critical periods (e.g., financial close).
Coordination with offshore teams for global coverage and seamless ticket handoffs.
