RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Acton, MA that is seeking a UX Instructional Designer - Motion & Media.
Summary:
Are you a visual storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? We're looking for a creative and driven Motion & Visual Designer to join our UX Instructional Design team. In this role, you'll bring learning experiences to life through compelling motion graphics, animation, and video content that's not only effective-but delightful.
Duties:
* Design and produce visual content-graphics, motion, animation, and video-for digital learning experiences
* Collaborate with instructional designers, UX writers, researchers, and clinical experts to craft safe, engaging, and user-centered learning solutions
* Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives using storyboards, prototypes, and interactive presentations
* Partner with Human Factors and User Research teams to test and refine concepts based on real user feedback
* Present your work to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence
* Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards for medical devices while maintaining a high bar for user delight
* Contribute to the evolution of our design language, standards, and frameworks
* Support both tactical and innovative instructional design initiatives in an agile environment
* Learn and grow under the mentorship of senior UX/ID professionals
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Motion Design, Graphic Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field-or equivalent experience
* 1-2 years of experience in UX, web, or mobile design with a focus on motion, animation, or video
* A strong portfolio that showcases your storytelling and design skills
* Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and grow
* Prototyping skills are a plus
* A passion for brainstorming, discovery, and storytelling-both visually and verbally
* A collaborative spirit and the ability to build strong relationships across teams
* A customer-first mindset with a drive to create high-impact, user-friendly experiences
* Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
