Job Details
The Department of Radiology is seeking to fill a temporary Genomic Data Analyst to work with stem cell data. This position will work under the direction of Bruce Hammer, PhD.
Responsibilities:
Work with Bionanotechnology personnel at the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute on Spatial transcriptomics of embryoid bodies subjected to magnetic levitation.
After analyzing data collaborate with Genetics, Cell Biology and Development personnel and Dr. Hammer to submit a manuscript to a journal describing the effect of reduced gravitational loading on spatial transcriptomics of stem cells.
Other duties as assigned.

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience to equal 9 years.
Ability to problem solve or troubleshoot unexpected results
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Time management
Preferred Qualifications:
Individual should have worked on NASA project exploring the effect of reduced gravity on stem cell function.
Have 5+ years of experience working with embryoid bodies, magnetic levitation and transcriptomics.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $25/hour ; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
