System Administrator
Role Overview
Monitor and manage end-user devices and related IT infrastructure.
Focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Configure System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and integrate with other EUC tools like SCCM.
Set up monitoring dashboards and alerts for proactive issue detection.
Manage SCOM management packs and troubleshoot end-user environment issues.
Plan and implement SCOM hierarchy, site system roles, and management packs for EUC.
Configure and manage SCOM dashboards and alerts for early detection of performance issues in workstations, laptops, and endpoint devices.
Integrate SCOM with EUC tools such as SCCM, Intune, and Workspace ONE for seamless data flow and visibility.
Proactively monitor EUC environment, identify/report performance issues, and act as escalation point for complex problems.
Ensure systems are up-to-date and secure using SCOM for patch management (may overlap with SCCM).
Monitor and report on device health, software deployments, and compliance statuses.
Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot issues, follow best practices, and enhance end-user productivity.
Technical Skills
SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) PowerShell and Python scripting for automation Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory Experience with EUC tools like Intune and Workspace ONE
