Title : Apache Solaris Administrator (ELK Stack)
Location: NYC, NY
Description
Required Skills (Must-Have):
- 4–5 years of hands-on Apache Solr administration experience.
- Strong expertise in SolrCloud operations and JVM tuning.
- Manage SolrCloud operations including ZooKeeper, shards, replicas, and leader election.
- Perform advanced JVM tuning (heap/off-heap memory, threads, caches).
- Proven troubleshooting skills for performance, indexing, and query optimization.
- Solid understanding of TLS, RBAC, HA, and zero-downtime upgrades.
- Experience supporting Lucidworks Fusion (installation, pipelines, upgrades).
Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills:
- ELK Stack administration: Elasticsearch (PoCs & production), Logstash, Kibana.
- Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic.
- Spark connectors and ingestion pipeline tuning
