Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales and Business Development.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales and Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding our client base in SAP Services and Staffing. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy, developing new business opportunities, and managing the sales team to achieve growth targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT services, an extensive network in the industry, and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and implement robust sales strategies to attract new clients in the IT services and staffing industry.
- Engage in proactive prospecting through networking, cold calling, and other effective means to generate leads and interest from potential clients.
- Develop and execute strategies for selling SAP products and solutions to new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, understand their SAP AMS needs and propose tailored SAP AMS solutions
- Assist clients in understanding the benefits and ROI of investing in SAP AMS.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, including setting sales targets and providing ongoing support to enhance the business relationship.
- Drive sales opportunities and build networks to leverage Application Management knowledge and capabilities by positioning Application Management Services to address client’s business requirements and issues, both externally with clients and internally with account teams
- Grow and retain existing client accounts by introducing innovative solutions and services.
- Collaborate with mid and senior-level management, marketing, and technical teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Engage in strategic planning, identifying new market opportunities and potential areas for growth within the IT services and staffing sector.
- Independently create sales collateral to support client meetings and articulate value propositions and market offerings.
- Develop staffing business by acquiring new customers, becoming prime vendors to IT staffing firms.
- Perform Account manager roles such as analyzing staffing requirements, screening candidates, submitting to clients, onboarding, and monitoring performance.
- Creation of proposals and quotations to key clientele
- Some travel (10 – 15%)
Required Qualification:
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the IT services and staffing industry.
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, specifically in SAP services and staffing.
- Experience selling AMS Services, IT projects and professional consulting services.
- Experience with preparation of RFP/RFQ responses for IT services is a must.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Extensive knowledge of AMS and the competitive landscape and sales process
- An ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations.
- Experience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large revenue projects.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in a senior sales role in the SAP services and staffing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP products and the staffing industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
