- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking UX / ADA Specialist to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
This role will provide experience in website design, authoring, and maintenance, incorporating ADA and UX design knowledge, to evaluate current websites for ADA compliance, document remediation requirements, and implement remediation. As part of the review, identify, document, and address general webpage deficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS- In-depth knowledge of ADA compliance, including familiarity with WCAG guidelines and applicable legal requirements.
- Proficient with ADA compliance tools and utilities such as Siteimprove Accessibility, Color Contrast Analyzer (CCA), ACTF, SortSite Desktop, and NVDA.
- Strong skills in UX design, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Proficient technical skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net ASP/ASPX.
- Experienced with accessibility tools.
SCOPE OF WORK
Perform ADA compliance related work, including but not limited to:- Conducting thorough audits of existing digital products or systems, identifying accessibility barriers and potential violations.
- Developing detailed plans to address identified accessibility issues, including specific technical fixes and design changes.
- Designing accessible user interfaces, ensuring usability for individuals with disabilities, while considering various assistive technologies.
- Performing testing and validation to ensure accessibility standards are met, using both automated tools and manual testing methods.
- Preparing clear and concise reports outlining audit findings, remediation plans, and progress updates.
DELIVERABLES- Deliver reports, design documents, code changes, and training materials as specified.
