IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a .NET Developer to work on internal and external end-user support on a legacy application along with new development.

Tasks:

• Designs, develops and implements web-based applications using the .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE, and supported programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Performs front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services).
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Can perform with no direct supervision, code is reviewed by the team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and best use of judgment and diplomacy.

NOTE: Local candidates and State of Wisconsin current residents only. 100% remote work is an option if residing within the State of WI. The candidate will be required to complete computer-based Security Awareness Training at the beginning of agency engagement and annually thereafter at their own expense.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years - Experience in the development and support of web-based applications using the .NET framework ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE
• Experience supporting programming languages (e.g., C#, C, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Experience with ASP.net and SSRS reporting
• Experience with SQL Backend and stored procedures
• Experience performing front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services).
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate s Degree in area of specialty or 5-8+ years of experience in the field or a related area.

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Experience with Kendo UI Controls
• Experience with Power BI
