Summary


The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development and deployment of enterprise-level applications, ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable systems. This role involves planning and managing projects, maintaining existing applications, and advising leadership on technology strategies and long-term system planning. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and adherence to best practices in software development.




Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary manager for code deployments across multiple product teams, including cloud, mobile, and on-premise environments.

  • Maintain release documentation and oversee build and release processes.

  • Support release planning, governance, risk assessment, milestone tracking, and production readiness reviews.

  • Provide technical guidance to senior leadership on technology planning and acquisition.

  • Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements for security, development, and deployment processes.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operations through technology solutions.

  • Lead and mentor local and offshore technical teams for optimal performance.

  • Implement and enforce policies for project management, application development, and system security.

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective technology implementation and support.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.




Skills & Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles.

  • Strong knowledge of application deployment, IT governance, project management, and organizational development concepts.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all organizational levels.


Preferred:



  • Experience with enterprise-scale software design and implementation.

  • API development and integration expertise.

  • Security-focused development practices.

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, Blazor, Azure DevOps, Microsoft tech stack, and QA automation tools.

  • Proficiency with SQL Server (2019+), Azure Pipelines, Azure App Services, and Git.

  • Exposure to AI, ML, and LLM technologies.

  • Background in healthcare, insurance, or PBM industries.
