A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a SAP Procurement/Ariba Functional Consultant
Position type: Full time Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: St Paul, MN Hybrid
As a SAP Procurement/Ariba Functional Consultant you will be responsible for
Leading comprehensive procurement transformations, bringing extensive knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement compliance in regulated industries.
Job description
SAP Implementation Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba and procurement implementation projects across multiple business units
- Conduct detailed source-to-pay process assessments and transformation roadmap development
- Design integrated procurement solutions spanning Ariba Suite and SAP S/4HANA backend
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications for sourcing, contracting, and procure-to-pay processes
- Execute complex Ariba configurations including workflow design, approval processes, and catalog
- management
- Lead supplier enablement programs and supplier portal implementations
- Manage integration architecture between Ariba cloud solutions and on-premise SAP systems Domain
Expertise & Process Design:
- Design strategic sourcing processes including RFx management, auction events, and contract negotiations
- Implement comprehensive supplier lifecycle management with qualification, performance monitoring, and risk assessment
- Configure advanced procure-to-pay processes with three-way matching, exception handling, and automated approvals
- Design category management strategies for direct and indirect procurement
- Implement spend analytics and procurement performance dashboards
- Configure advanced approval workflows with delegation management and escalation procedures
- Design supplier collaboration processes including supplier self-service and portal capabilities
Healthcare Manufacturing Specialization:
- Implement FDA-compliant supplier qualification and audit management processes
- Design procurement processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and critical raw materials
- Configure GMP-compliant supplier management with certificate of analysis tracking
- Implement procurement processes for clinical trial materials and regulatory submissions
- Design controlled substance procurement with DEA compliance and inventory tracking
- Configure supplier risk management for single-source and critical suppliers
Ideal Candidate will have:
SAP Implementation Experience:
- 10+ years of comprehensive SAP Ariba and procurement implementation experience with minimum 5 full lifecycle projects
- Proven experience leading large-scale source-to-pay transformations in manufacturing environments
- Deep technical expertise in SAP Ariba Suite configuration (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoice, SLP)
- Extensive experience with SAP MM procurement processes and Ariba-SAP integration
- Strong experience with supplier enablement, change management, and user adoption strategies
- Hands-on experience with Ariba integration technologies and custom development coordination
Domain Knowledge:
- Extensive procurement and strategic sourcing domain expertise across multiple industries
- Deep understanding of sourcing methodologies, supplier selection, and contract management
- Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, spend analysis, and procurement performance
- management
- Experience with category management, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment
- Understanding of procurement compliance, audit requirements, and internal controls
- Knowledge of advanced procurement concepts like supplier development and collaborative planning

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70/hr. - $75/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
