Job Title: Senior SDET Engineer

Location: Minneapolies MN (its day onsite)

Summary:
As a Senior SDET, you will lead quality engineering efforts within a scrum team, focusing on test automation across the software development lifecycle. You ll build robust frameworks, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high-quality delivery of digital banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, microservices, and databases.
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using best practices (e.g., Page Object Model, BDD).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Conduct functional, regression, and white-box testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, demos).
• Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain test environments and data aligned with staging/production.
• Evaluate and implement new testing tools and strategies.
• Perform log analysis using tools like Sumo Logic or Kibana, or Splunk to identify issues and validate test outcomes.
• Conduct incident analysis to support root cause investigations and improve system reliability.
• Apply strong understanding of system design and architecture.
• Utilize cloud testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 12 15 years in software testing and automation, preferably in banking or financial domains.
• Programming: Proficient in Java/JavaScript (Python optional).
• Tools & Frameworks: Selenium, Cypress/Playwright, Appium, RestAssured, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Project Management: Jira, Confluence.
• Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Monitoring & Logging: Sumo Logic, Kibana, Splunk.
• Testing Types: Smoke, Functional, Regression (Performance, Accessibility optional).
