Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and innovative Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) Architect to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on creating cutting-edge AR/VR applications, with a special emphasis on gaming, education, and training experiences. The ideal candidate will possess skills in AR/VR development, 3D modeling, and user experience (UX) design, and be passionate about creating immersive, interactive experiences that push the boundaries of technology.
Responsibilities:
- AR/VR Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive AR/VR applications and experiences for gaming, education, and training purposes.
- 3D Modeling & Assets Creation: Create and implement high-quality 3D models, textures, and assets that enhance user immersion and engagement.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop user-friendly interfaces and seamless interactions for AR/VR applications.
- Cross-Platform Development: Build applications that function on various AR/VR platforms such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, Microsoft HoloLens, and mobile AR platforms (e.g., ARKit and ARCore).
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with game designers, educators, and training professionals to ensure that applications meet specific use cases and enhance the user experience.
- Testing & Optimization: Test and optimize AR/VR applications for performance, ensuring smooth, bug-free experiences across different devices.
- Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AR/VR technology, gaming trends, and immersive learning methods to continuously innovate and improve product offerings.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, designs, and testing procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing AR/VR applications for gaming, education, or training.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Proficiency in AR/VR development platforms such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Solid understanding of UX principles for immersive environments.
- Experience with C# or C++ programming languages, especially in Unity or Unreal Engine environments.
- Familiarity with AR/VR SDKs and development tools (e.g., Vuforia, ARKit, ARCore, OpenXR).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good understanding of game mechanics, immersive experiences, and interaction design.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
