Description

SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Federal Laboratory Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States Government customer in Chantilly, VA. SETA contractors provide analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA), and Collaborative Project Orders (CPO).
  • Streamline the processes of receiving ideas and helping to engage with the interested stakeholder.
  • Perform metrics reporting on the workflow and determine bottlenecks.
  • Track technology transfers from an R&D office to operational users.
  • Conduct engagement and coordination with other Federal Laboratory entities, as well as academia, industry, and government organizations.
  • Engage in outreach activities with stakeholders within the organization to identify transition partners for R&D projects.
  • Communicate technical concepts and information via written and oral communications.


Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly.
  • BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 14 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of technical experience desired.
  • Experience with Patents and Intellectual Property (IP) is desired.
  • Aptitude for on-site SETA work.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Experience working with Confluence and JIRA desired.
