Our Client, A consortium of 11 regional banks across the U.S., is seeking a Workday HCM Analyst

Location: Hybrid, NEW YORK, NY
Position Type: Full Time

Summary:
  • Evaluate, analyze, design, and maintain the CLIENT's HRIS and compensation programs. Identify new HR needs and the cloud-based products to fulfill these needs. Make alterations to existing programs to gather and report data, as necessary.
  • Support the CLIENT's Information Security policy by enforcing security standards and executing security procedures on a day-to-day operational basis for HR applications, including interfacing with employees, consultants, and vendors at all levels.
  • Lead, execute, and finalize small to large cross-functional projects according to agreed-upon deadlines and within budget. Includes coordinating the efforts of internal team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Defines the project's objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle.
  • Primary back-up to the Workday Data Analyst. Evaluate, analyze, and maintain the CLIENT's HRIS.
  • Function as the Project Manager for all HR system upgrades and implementations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot HRIS-related matters.
  • Write and maintain accurate business processes and procedures following the CLIENT's standards.
  • Support Payroll/Benefits team throughout day-to-day and year-end operations: merit increase calculation & mass upload, payroll reconcilement, W-2 & ACA configuration, etc.
  • Manage vendor relationships: Lead HR system contract renewal process and perform vendor performance and risk assessments.
  • Implement compensation programs approved by the Board and/or Management Committee.
  • Lead the Incentive Compensation process with Management Reporting and calculate Incentive Compensation for all eligible CLIENT employees.
  • Provide ad-hoc and periodic reports to users, auditors, and examiners.
  • Test and implement new versions, releases, and fixes to the HR solution platforms based on the CLIENT's standard test plans.
  • Manage the testing of all HR-related processes in the HR information system.
  • Project Administration
  • Ensure that multiple concurrent projects across Corporate Services are orchestrated such that common resource dependencies are effectively shared, project plans are aligned to avoid conflicts and delays, and cross-project dependencies are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Define the project baselines, goals, and deliverables, track project progress, provide project status reports, and execute corrective actions to help ensure the project schedule remains on target.
  • Perform and direct the appropriate level of analysis, design, and implementation of assigned projects.
  • Manage and monitor the daily security and operation of Workday and other HR system platforms.

  • Compile market data for the annual merit and salary structure review process
  • Complete annual compensation and salary surveys
  • Assist with reviewing, monitoring and designing competitive, cost-effective total compensation and reward programs.

Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years' Workday HRIS and project management experience
  • Experience with technical and functional aspects of Workday HCM, Performance Management and Compensation
  • Experience managing projects across multiple departments (Human Resources, Corporate Real Estate & Office of Diversity & Inclusion).
  • Strong working knowledge of planning, project management, budgeting, and quality assurance as it relates to business processes and business-related projects
  • Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required, along with the ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Workday and HR or project management certification a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Five-plus years of relevant experience instead of a degree is acceptable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary: $120k
