Job Details
Seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of healthcare IT initiatives-from initiation through closure-with a particular focus on implementing a contact center solution. Examples of this would be: NICE, Genesys, Five9, Avaya, Cisco Contact Center, etc.
These efforts involve multiple technologies, systems, departments, and stakeholders, and range in scale from moderately sized to large and complex. The role is central to advancing strategic business objectives by ensuring successful delivery against baseline measures of cost, schedule, and scope-especially within the high-impact environment of contact center operations.

Scope Development (15%)
- Collaborate with business customers and technical teams to define project objectives and determine budget estimates.
- Analyze hardware, software, and licensing needs to guide fiscal planning and assess ROI.
- Secure formal scope acceptance and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
Requirements Elicitation (15%)
- Validate solutions against stakeholder needs through interviews, workshops, surveys, and business analysis.
- Convert insights into detailed business and functional requirements, use cases, and design documentation.
- Challenge assumptions and uncover true business needs through proactive consultation.
Project Lifecycle Management (30%)
- Manage all phases of project execution including planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee vendor integration within project frameworks.
- Monitor timelines, track performance, mitigate risks, and ensure quality outputs.
Communication (10%)
- Develop project communications and present to diverse internal and external audiences.
- Act as primary liaison across sponsors, business units, technical teams, and vendors.
Budget Planning & Reporting (10%)
- Evaluate technology spend and assist with budget proposals and supplier assessments.
- Ensure proper billing and cost tracking across project efforts.
Professional Development (10%)
- Maintain certifications, stay informed of industry trends, and engage with professional communities.
Process Improvement (5%)
- Contribute to PMO maturity through active research and adoption of new methodologies.
Other Duties (5%)
- Maintain documentation, respond to communications, and comply with ongoing training requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of project leadership using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- 3+ years in technical IT functions (e.g., development, networking, telephony)
- Experience producing full SDLC documentation and driving stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with healthcare IT environments
- Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills
Preferred:
- PMP certification
- Experience with small or critical access hospital technology deployments
