Job Title: Ab Initio Sr Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH, USA (Onsite)

Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio development, including significant work with the Graphical Development Environment Ab Initio ETL tools.

Core Skills:

• Strong experience in ETL/ELT processes and data integration using Ab Initio.
• Expertise in data pipeline optimization, including performance tuning for complex data workflows.
• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and designing solutions for large-scale data architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting (e.g., shell scripting) for process automation and job orchestration.
• Experience with integrating Ab Initio solutions into Cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Tools/Technologies:

Ab Initio suite: GDE, Co>Op, EME, Conduct>It, and Continuous>It.

• Familiarity with tools like Apache Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases (e.g., HBase, MongoDB) is a plus.
• Data Modeling Tools (e.g., Erwin, IBM Data Studio, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues in data workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with business users, project managers, and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Team player with leadership capabilities to guide junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications: plus, not mandatory

• Experience in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and familiarity with tools like JIRA.
• Certifications in Ab Initio, cloud platforms, or data-related technologies would be a plus.
