RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer 3 in Seattle, WA.

Overview:
As Software Development Engineer, you will join a fast growing tech organization with plenty of technical talent. You will develop a high quality, creative, technology platform that powers ingesting and passing along the highest quality leads to the AWS Sales teams. Your team will drive and own core innovations for our customers worldwide. You will closely interact with senior managers and stakeholders on a global scale, prioritizing and autonomously driving the full software development lifecycle for your team. You will work on critical projects that significantly contribute to the significant growth of AWS. You will make a huge, measurable impact to the AWS buying and lead management process and build and innovate solutions that are simple and easy to maintain and scale.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Implementation of a scalable E2E technical design across all systems in the solution - AWS tools, API, Redshift
* Deliver validated conceptual architecture
* Write and prioritize architectural enablement work items
* Evaluates technical feasibility of features
* Defines migration plan from current to future state
* Defines environment setup and continuous integration/continuous delivery standards
* Collaborating and provides guidance with product management, UX designers, and engineering on feature technical feasibility
* Capturing technical requirements ensuring the solution is secure, scalable, efficient, and responsive
* Designing an overarching solution and soliciting buy in from technical audiences
* Delivering high quality code and peer reviews
* Championing standards and best practices
* Identifying technical risks and issues and mitigation strategies to resolve system bugs

REQUIREMENTS:
* The ideal candidate will have a track record of success, delivering new features or products
* This person has thrived on delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast
* They have strong design and implementation experience, digs deep into data, has a strong knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in-depth knowledge of distributed systems architectures and integration between third party applications

Frontend Frameworks & Libraries:
* Strong proficiency in React.js, including React Hooks, Context API, and React Router
* Experience with state management using Redux

AWS Services & Cloud Development:
* Familiarity with Amazon S3, CloudFront, and Cognito for hosting and authentication
* Understanding of AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB for backend interactions
* Experience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CDK for frontend CI/CD

JavaScript & TypeScript:
* Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+)
* Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable applications

Testing & Debugging:
* Hands-on experience with unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library)
* Proficiency in end-to-end testing (Cypress, Playwright)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
