Front-end React Engineer

Our client is looking for a React Engineer to join their Web Engineering team in New York City to help build the future of fintech business. You would help us build and test new features, execute on our product roadmap, and help drive software and technology decisions. The role would be full time in our client's New York City office. You will have a direct impact on our 1.5 million and growing monthly active visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and build new features into one of the most advanced interfaces on the web using React.js, Node.js, Rest and GraphQL.
  • Keep our product up to date with the latest frontend technologies such as React, Node and ES2015+
  • Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g., automated testing, code reviews, and writing clean, pragmatic code)
  • Actively contribute to team and company standards
  • Strong JavaScript development skills, understanding of new ES6 concepts, and proficiency in React.js (mandatory), Node.js ecosystem and other frontend/backend JS frameworks.
  • Must have at least 4-5 years of experience developing web-based applications.
  • Good experience with Rest, and GraphQL is preferred.
  • Experience with Node.js is a plus.
  • Extensive experience developing large-scale application software
  • Have full knowledge of the DOM, new HTML5 constructs, and CSS3
  • Have experience with Single Page Application development
  • Develop features and create fulfilling user experiences
