IT Project Manager

The Role

We re looking for an IT Project Manager who turns complex technical initiatives into on-time, on-budget wins. You ll lead cross-functional teams developers, infrastructure, security, and vendors to deliver cloud migrations, software rollouts, cybersecurity upgrades, and digital transformation projects with precision and transparency.

What You ll Do

Core Responsibilities

• Plan and execute full-lifecycle IT projects: scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
• Build detailed project plans using MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet with milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies: Daily standups, sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming (Scrum/Kanban).
• Manage stakeholders: Weekly status reports, steering committee updates, exec-level dashboards.
• Coordinate technical teams: DevOps, network, security, DBA, and external vendors.
• Track budget & procurement: CapEx/Opex, PO tracking, vendor invoices, cost-benefit analysis.
• Mitigate risks: RAID logs, contingency plans, change control, escalation protocols.
• Drive quality: UAT coordination, cutover planning, go-live support, post-implementation reviews.
• Champion process improvement: Lessons learned, template standardization, PMO metrics.

What You Bring

Must-Have

• 5+ years of IT project management experience.
• Proven delivery of infrastructure, software, or cloud projects ($500K+ budgets).
• Certification: PMP, CAPM, Agile PM, or Scrum Master (PSM/CSM).
• Tool fluency: Jira/Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
• Technical literacy: Cloud (AWS/Azure), networking, cybersecurity, SDLC, APIs.
• Budget & vendor management: RFPs, SOWs, SLAs, contract negotiation basics.
• Strong communication: You translate zero-downtime cutover into C-suite confidence.
• Experience with change management and training rollouts.

Nice-to-Have

• PRINCE2, ITIL Foundation, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience with SAFe or enterprise agile frameworks.
• Background in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, energy).
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, or IaC projects.
• Data migration or ERP implementation experience.
