Engineer, Software is located in Frisco, TX and will partner with accounting, IT, and other business departments to understand testing requirements.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects and lead and guide the work of technical staff.
  • Onboard and train new staff members regarding testing approaches and standards.
  • Improve testing processes through automation.
  • Communicate project expectations to team and stakeholders effectively and efficiently.
  • Allocate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and timeline.
  • Create and review IT test scenarios and validate and test results.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies.
  • Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, and presentations, as well as scheduled and ad hoc testing progress reports.
  • Create IT/Application test strategies to support control test process.
  • Create and maintain staffing plan to support existing and future work and project deliverables.
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members.

Minimum requirements:

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Technology Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Technology Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related, and 5 years of post-Bachelor's, progressive work experience.

Skills requirements: Requires experience in each of the following skills:
  • Review, design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Prepaid and Postpaid Service Revenue Accounting, Billing, and Operations Support Systems (OSS).
  • Utilizing Agile methodology, Jira Align, qTest, and Jira to ensure all required scenarios are mapped to relevant requirements.
  • Driving UI-automation, back-end automation, feasibility studies, and proof of concept using RPA, TOSCA, and Subex.
  • Working on financial reporting and Data Warehousing, customized SQL and PL/SQL query creation in Oracle, and databases (Teradata and Snowflake).
  • Troubleshooting software defects for OSS, SAP, ERP and Revenue Recognition applications, BI systems, Tableau, and Business Objects.
  • Using SAP, CRM, Retail POS, Web-based self-service portals, and APIs to execute transaction review and reverse logistics.

OTHER: Work hours: 40 hours/week. Salary: $122,900 to $166,200 per year

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
