ASSIGNMENT IS HYBRID. REMOTE 80% AND ON-SITE 20%.

PG&E LAPTOP WILL BE ISSUED( A DOCKING STATION AND MONITOR IF NEEDED). PERSONAL CELL PHONE FOR CALLS/MEETINGS. WITH MANAGER PRIOR APPROVAL A PRE-DETERMINED AMOUNT FOR CELL AND INTERNET CN BE EXPENSED MONTHLY.

Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Senior Program Manager to lead organizational process improvement initiatives with a strong emphasis on Lean methodology. This role will focus on managing correspondences, visual management systems, and KPI/metrics development to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a sharp analytical mindset and strong critical thinking skills to navigate complex challenges and deliver sustainable, waste-reducing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement Leadership
  • Lead process enhancements across correspondence workflows and reporting systems.
    Apply Lean principles to streamline operations, eliminate waste (TIMWOODs), and improve cycle times.
Correspondence Management
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of internal and external correspondences.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant communication aligned with regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and remove inefficiencies using Lean tools.
Visual Management & KPI Development
  • Design and implement visual management systems (e.g., 1-3-10 framework) aligned with Lean practices.
  • Define, track, and report KPIs to support continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
  • Use structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to address operational challenges.
  • Leverage Lean thinking to evaluate trade-offs, mitigate risks, and drive innovation.
Program Governance & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain Lean-aligned program charters, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through initiative lifecycles—from chartering to sustainment.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Facilitate workshops and reviews to align on goals, metrics, and outcomes.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure transparency and alignment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management with a focus on Lean process improvement and Visual Management.
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in visual management and KPI systems development.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Tools & Systems
  • Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Smartsheet.
