This advanced-level position requires expertise in analyzing complex datasets, developing reports and dashboards, and optimizing business intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will leverage technical proficiency in SQL, SSRS reporting, Power BI, Python, and VBA to extract, analyze, and present actionable insights.
The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills, debugging and troubleshooting capabilities, and process documentation expertise. A deep understanding of data structures and algorithms is essential for designing efficient data models and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Insights: Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Business Intelligence Development: Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, SSRS, and other BI tools.
- SQL & Database Management: Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to improve data accessibility and efficiency.
- Automation & Scripting: Utilize Python and VBA to automate data processing, reporting, and analytical tasks.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, report generation issues, and system performance bottlenecks.
- Process Documentation: Develop and maintain clear, detailed documentation of data models, workflows, and reporting processes.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) for querying and database management.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, or similar BI tools.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Knowledge of VBA for automating tasks in Excel or other applications.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting processes and presenting findings.
