We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
4. Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct production readiness review process.
5. Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
6. Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
7. Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
8. Direct the analysis of production and other operational reports to ensure that methods are implemented and followed.
9. Collaborate with the quality control, design, and other departments to solve operational issues and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
10. Utilize ERP systems for production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Strong understanding and experience with ERP systems.
4. Proven experience in process improvement, project management, and production optimization.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of team members.
