Job Details

Role Description:

Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure following approved procedures.

Handle incidents, service requests, and troubleshoot issues related to Azure resources.

Perform root-cause analysis, document findings, and implement preventive measures.

Manage and monitor Azure services to ensure high availability and performance.

Work on backup/restore operations, VM resizing, OS updates, and patching.

Configure and monitor alerts, dashboards, and reports in Azure Monitor.

Ensure security compliance through proper RBAC implementation and policy enforcement.

Participate in infrastructure automation using ARM/Bicep/Terraform.

Collaborate with application teams, network teams, and security teams for issue resolution.

Maintain proper documentation for deployed infrastructure, runbooks, and SOPs.

Escalate issues to higher-level support when required.

Essential Skills:

Azure Cloud Engineer - Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Load Balancers, and Azure Monitor.

Experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Azure IaaS workloads.

Good understanding of Azure Networking (NSG, UDR, VPN, ExpressRoute basics).

Hands-on experience with Azure Backup Recovery, Azure Site Recovery (ASR).

Experience with ARM Templates Bicep Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Load Balancers, and Azure Monitor.

Experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Azure IaaS workloads.

Good understanding of Azure Networking (NSG, UDR, VPN, ExpressRoute basics).

Hands-on experience with Azure Backup Recovery, Azure Site Recovery (ASR).

Experience with ARM Templates Bicep Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Strong experience in Azure Identity Access Management RBAC, Managed Identities.

Good troubleshooting skills for VM issues, performance bottlenecks, boot diagnostics, access issues, and network connectivity.

Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, Alerts.

Knowledge of Azure Security principles and best practices.

Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for CICD (basic level).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Incident analysis, root-cause analysis, and documentation skills Azure Administrator Certification (AZ-104) preferred.

Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS) or containers (ACI/ACR).

Knowledge of PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.

Understanding of cost optimization in Azure.

Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on time.
