We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Software Engineer with a passion for modern web technologies and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will work on the development and maintenance of single-page applications (SPAs) for the client’s cruise line website, contributing to the expansion of our product catalog.
You will collaborate closely with product teams, interpret business requirements, and translate them into scalable and maintainable software solutions. This role involves working in a Scrum-based agile environment, with regular participation in daily standups and sprint planning meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance single-page applications using Angular, NestJS, and RxJS.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand feature requirements.
- Integrate solutions with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for scalable deployment.
- Participate in remote daily SCRUM ceremonies and bi-weekly sprint planning sessions.
- Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and code reviews.
- Support accessibility and performance best practices.
- Strong experience in Java software development.
- Proficient with Angular, NestJS, and RxJS.
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
- Experience with Harness or other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodology and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
