Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit CNC programs for various machines, including mills and lathes.
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining processes.
- Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates.
- Perform program simulations and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs and processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
