About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic IT infrastructure team supporting both on-premises and cloud environments. This role is critical to maintaining and evolving the company's cloud transformation journey while ensuring the stability of existing systems.
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, planning, and support of server and middleware environments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT Security, Software Development, and Infrastructure to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, planning, and support of server and middleware environments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT Security, Software Development, and Infrastructure to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support on-prem and cloud-based server environments.
- Collaborate on cloud transformation initiatives and infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Research and implement new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and containerization efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems engineering and/or cloud environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud technologies.
- Experience with server and cloud virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows server and workstation operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL or Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise-level system and hardware design.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development.
- Experience in a hybrid cloud environment.

- Hybrid schedule: 50% onsite in downtown Omaha.
