Architect L2 Location: Torrance, CA 12 Months Contract
Hybrid role, 4 days Onsite, 1 day work from home
Pay rate $92 Per hr on W2 Max
Job Description:
Highly experienced, independent, and strategic Senior IT Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions across a diverse application and data landscape. This role will be responsible for orchestrating seamless system communication, modernizing integration strategies, and enabling platforms such as microsites, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise metadata platforms like DataHub.
Will need to operate as both a visionary leader and hands-on architect, collaborating across business and IT units to build integration frameworks that are secure, scalable, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end integration solutions, including APIs, event streaming, messaging, and data pipelines.
- Design integration for microsites and headless CMS platforms, ensuring cohesive user experience, SSO, and content flow.
- Define canonical models, interface contracts, transformation logic, and reusable integration patterns.
- Lead the integration of DataHub with enterprise systems to enable real-time metadata collection and lineage insights.
- Act as the enterprise integration authority, leading architecture efforts and influencing decision-making across programs.
- Work independently with minimal oversight while guiding development and architecture teams toward delivery excellence.
- Establish integration standards and strategies aligned with enterprise data governance and business priorities.
- Partner with data governance teams to ensure DataHub integration supports metadata harvesting, lineage tracking, and data discovery across platforms.
- Drive implementation of complex integrations across SaaS, on-prem, cloud-native, and hybrid platforms.
- Guide teams through the delivery lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Review and approve technical designs, solution blueprints, and integration code for quality and alignment.
- Implement and enforce integration governance: versioning, lifecycle, monitoring, and documentation.
- Collaborate with data and platform engineering teams to enable metadata-driven integration and discoverability using DataHub.
- Ensure integration solutions adhere to performance, availability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Manage relationships with vendor partners to ensure alignment with architectural standards and business goals.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for team and vendor partners to ensure the effectiveness of architecture services.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on architectural progress, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with 7+ years in enterprise integration architecture.
- Proven ability to lead integration initiatives independently from concept to execution.
- Expertise in:
- iPaaS and integration tools
- API design, management, and security (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OAuth2, SAML)
- Event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka, Event Grid)
- Messaging frameworks and ESB
- Hands-on experience integrating microsites and headless CMS platforms.
- Strong experience in integrating DataHub or similar metadata platforms
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience across multiple domains and technologies.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and best practices.
- Experience in Salesforce, automotive, captive finance, and data analytics sectors is preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive innovation and adopt new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
