Job Details

Title: Internal Auditor V (Vendor Management SME )
Location: Remote
Pay: $115-$122.34/hr on W2 (DOE)
Contract: W2; - 8/4/2025 to 10/3/2025 - Possibility for extension
Client: Fortune 500 Company

Required Skills

  • Extensive Industry Experience: Over 10 years of experience managing professional services providers and software licensing vendors.

  • Vendor Management Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in vendor management, including contract negotiation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.

  • Experience with Large Enterprises: Demonstrated ability to work with or within large organizations, navigating complex vendor relationships.

Preferred Skills

  • Technology Familiarity: Experience with vendor management systems, contract management tools, and procurement platforms.

  • Relevant Certifications: Credentials such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Vendor Manager (CVM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to vendor management.

Role Overview

  • During the scoping phase, the individual will help identify key focus areas.

  • They will support the manager by collecting evidence related to specific control tests.

  • Additionally, they will document conclusions drawn from those control evaluations.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

  • Certified Vendor Manager (CVM)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
