Job Title: Cloud Platform Architect
Location: Chicago, IL
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud architecture, with 3+ years in Azure.
- Deep experience with Azure services (App Services, AKS, VNet, Key Vault, Storage, Functions).
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot based microservice infrastructure patterns.
- Familiarity with Next.js or other React-based micro frontend patterns.
- Hands-on experience modernizing Oracle ATG or other monolithic legacy systems.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Understanding of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, performance tuning, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ecommerce platform architecture and modernization.
- Familiarity with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and API gateway patterns.
- Experience with monitoring and observability (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Azure certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
