Job Description:

Front-End Developer

Responsibilities:

Work on a wide variety of full stack projects spanning multiple business units.

Candidate will be a core contributor building and testing major features on several web applications to enhance the experience for our internal and external customers.

Candidate must display a high degree of enthusiasm, willingness to learn new tech, and attention to detail.

Experience:

3+ years professional experience, JavaScript and React.js development

3+ years professional experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs

1+ years professional experience, Backend development (Python, Node.js, Java, or GoLang)

1+ years professional experience, SQL/NoSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

Technical Qualifications:

Strong background in Vanilla JavaScript and React

Strong experience with Semantic HTML, CSS, and SCSS styling

TypeScript

Accessibility

React Unit Testing using Jest and either Enzyme or React Testing Library

React state management libraries (Redux, Apollo)

Consuming and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs

Web development best practices (performance, security, browser APIs)

Backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java, or GoLang)

Docker and Kubernetes

AWS

Automation testing (Cypress, Selenium)

General Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills

Excellent attention to detail, ownership, and ability to execute through to completion

Creative problem-solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process

Solid understanding of Agile development life cycle

Work well with shifting priorities and cross-functional teams

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
