Network Engineer (Onsite - Multiple U.S. Locations)

Employment Type: W2 only
Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S. Any Visa would be fine
Location: Onsite Multiple Locations Across the U.S. (List of possible cities or states can be added)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our onsite team across various locations in the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our growing network infrastructure. This is a full-time W2 position only; C2C candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.

  • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

  • Design and implement network configurations, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure network security and connectivity.

  • Analyze and isolate network issues, perform upgrades to network hardware and software, and maintain documentation of network configurations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.

  • Work with firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking hardware.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices for IT security.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 3 7 years of experience in network engineering or related role.

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, etc.).

  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade network equipment.

  • Proficiency in configuring firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).

  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).

  • Must be able to work onsite this is not a remote or hybrid position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.

  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Familiarity with SD-WAN and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
