Senior Security Engineer

As a Senio r Security Engineer in the Marketing SWE discipline, you will drive secure development practices, build scalable solutions, and empower teams to innovate confidently ensuring every application, dataset, and infrastructure com ponent is secure by design and secure by default.

Responsibilities:

• Champion Secure Development: Drive secure coding practices and design reviews across Marketing services, infrastructure, and data. Partner with Service Owners and CISO teams to embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Consult and Solution: Act as a trusted consultant, helping teams architect security capabilities and build for scale. Develop reusable patterns and centralized solutions that simplify com pliance and unlock agility across diverse Marketing applications.
• Incident Response: Own the response to identified vulnerabilities, security incidents, risks, and escalations. Drive remediation, root cause analysis, and long-term strategies to prevent recurrence, ensuring Marketing's data and services remain resilient.
• Advance Data Protection: Collaborate with data engineering, product, and Marketing service owners to implement organization-wide tooling and policy frameworks that protect sensitive data. Lead the deployment of data protection solutions that safeguard customer, employee, and business information.
• Build Security Automation: Develop automation, tooling, and solutions that enable secure by design and secure by default at scale. Empower Marketing teams to move quickly and confidently, knowing that security is seamlessly integrated into every workflow.
• Foster Engineering Ex ce ll e nce : C oding standards, and robust code management for security solutions. Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver end-to-end secure platform capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Com puter Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering ex per ience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent ex per ience.
• 4+ years of ex per ience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or technical program management .
• 4+ years of ex per ience proven ex per ience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and modern data architectures, alongside ex per t ise in incident response, remediation, and root cause analysis.
• 4+ years of ex per ience demonstrated ex per t ise in implementing data protection frameworks and privacy regulations, building scalable security automation solutions, and collaborating effectively across engineering, product, and business teams.

Pre ferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Com puter Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering ex per ience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python .
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Com puter Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering ex per ience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python .
  • OR equivalent ex per ience.
• 6+ years technical engineering ex per ience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or similar (preferred) Preferred.
• Ex per ience in marketing, data engineering, or related domains

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
