The main function of the Building Automation Systems Engineer is to the monitor and maintain the building systems to ensure the facilities are operating within specific parameters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control systems such as HVAC, cooling systems and fire systems.
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years experience facilities maintenance support
- 5+ years of HVAC and cooling systems maintenance experience
- 2+ years of refrigeration experience
- 2+ years of walk-in cooler experience
- 2+ years of fire systems experience
- PLC experience
- Controls experience
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage their own time.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
- Experience with QUN, Schneider, Siemens and EcoStructure.
