Role: Technical Architect (.NET Core, C++, AWS)
Location: Remote
Summary:
Seeking a Backend Architect to lead the design and development of a regulated trading platform for a new Futures Commodity Commissions Market (FCM). The ideal candidate has deep experience in financial/trading systems, regulatory compliance (CFTC, NFA), and scalable backend architecture on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect core backend systems (OMS, Clearing, Compliance)
- Design scalable, low-latency systems using .NET Core, C++, AWS (Kafka, DynamoDB)
- Ensure regulatory compliance and security best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, APIs, and deployment
- Lead engineering teams through delivery and implementation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of backend architecture experience in finance/trading
- Strong in .NET Core, C++, AWS (Kafka, DynamoDB)
- Experience with regulatory platforms (CFTC, NFA), OMS, clearing, KYC/AML
- Excellent in system design, documentation, and cross-team communication
Nice to Have:
- Experience in sports betting, prediction markets, or bidding systems
- Familiarity with integrating third-party platforms and regulated environments
