Skillset Requirement:

Fortinet Firewall, SDWAN and SASE, Routing(BGP,OSP etc.), Switching(Vlan, STP, RSTP),VPN(L2/L3VPN), MPLS, Tunneling Protocols-IPSec, GRE, SSL/TSL, Web Security Technology.

Position Overview:

Network Solution/Design Engineer who possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing SDWAN solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in Fortinet network appliances with knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, particularly in Fortinet and SDWAN products. The SD-WAN SASE Design Engineer will be responsible for understanding complex networking requirements, translating them into robust SASE/SD-WAN designs, and leading the implementation process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Description :

  • Expertise in Fortinet Network and Security products
  • IP Routing - BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation
  • Next Generation Firewall capabilities, configuration, and deployment primarily
  • Knowledge of remote user access technologies and WAN Technologies (MPLS, MetroE, DIA, Broadband, Fiberplus)
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and support Fortinet - SDWAN & SASE platforms.
  • Fortinet- SWG, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI, Zero Trust.
  • Hands-on experience in layer-3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), route redistribution, and route filtering
  • Hands-on experience in layer-2 protocols (Spanning-tree, HSRP).
  • Hands-on experience with VRP, NAT
  • Hands-on experience with various VPN technologies (DMVPN, IPSEC)
  • Tunneling protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN
  • Authentication methodologies, including 2FA, RADIUS, LDAP, AD
  • Day-to-day interaction with clients, telecom providers, equipment suppliers, and 3rd party network vendors, to engage their technical as well as non technical resources to perform tasks.
