W2 only - no sponsorship available!! Join our client as a Software Engineer - Java in Philadelphia, PA for a hybrid work schedule. In this role you will work onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- 3 – 6+ years of development experience with proficiency in Java
- BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.
- Development skills in MVC, REST, SOAP, Web services
- Familiar with JavaScript, Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Team Foundation Server a plus
- Familiar with performance, scalability, security, and testing applications.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Understanding of Agile application development.
- Self-starter with good analytical skills.
- The ability to drive solutions to completion.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to contribute tasks in building technical project schedules
Skill: Mandatory:
Java Full Stack and understanding of AWS lambdas/Lex is a plus
Required Skills:
3-6+ years in the following:
- Java Development experience
- Java 11+
- Spring
- Experience working with microservices architecture
- Kafka for messaging
- Strong understanding of SDLC
- Databases: Oracle or SQL Server
