Job Description

What you'll do
  • Perform ST blade/bucket Aero-mechanical design and stress analysis in support of steam turbine requisitions & NPI.
  • Execute requisition/NPI projects, interfacing with upstream stakeholders for inputs, executing scheduled design engineering tasks, and delivering to customers on-time with quality.
  • Develop creative engineered solutions for factory, vendor, and customer issues.
  • Apply steam turbine knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement new ideas that improve upon component form, fit, function, cost, cycle, and ease of servicing and installation.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain for the conduct of producibility, quality, and cost-out initiatives.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Finite Element Analysis experience, ANSYS preferred
  • Experience with steam turbine design, in particular Blade Aero-Mechanics

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $79,400.00 - 119,000.00 USD per year.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
