Dynamics 365 CRM/CE Developer
Our client is a non-profit in Tysons Corner. This is a non-profit that is trying to help people with disabilities - so the people who work here are truly trying to do the right thing. Their mission is to increase the employment of people with disabilities by building strong partnerships with the federal government and engaging a national network of nonprofit agencies and experts. It's a great place to work, and feel good about what you're doing. We have been asked to help them identify a great Dynamics 365 CRM/CE module developer.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Dynamics Developer is responsible for the development, configuration, integration, administration and technical support for the Dynamics 365 Sales and CRM application being built at our client. This individual will participate in the continued rollout of Dynamics 365 and all subsequent CRM development projects. The developer will be working collaboratively with the IT technical team, IT business analysts, IT managers/architects and business subject matter experts to develop, configure, integrate and document all technical components pertaining to the ERP/CRM solution. In addition, this individual will assist with the training and development of the existing IT staff regarding the technical development and features of Dynamics 365 CRM, bringing forth their technical expertise and best practices. Important to this role is the ability to develop solutions to address the people, process and technology needs of the organization and to understand business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions, all while adhering to organizational values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participate in the development, configuration and integration of Dynamics 365 (X++ and SSRS development), mapping business requirements and processes to the ERP and CRM solutions
- Ensure application components are in compliance with the enterprise and solution architecture, and apply best practices
- Follow change control procedures and manage the deployment from development to test to production
- Collaborate with IT colleagues, business subject matter experts and outside vendors on end user issues and new application functionality.
- Adhere to an iterative, agile implementation methodology
- Complete technical design deliverables and documentation
- Provide post-production technical support to end users
- Adhere to organizational policies and values
- Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Technical, development and administration experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, including configuration and customization experience
- Experience working with JavaScript, C#, .NET, ASP, HTML, CSS, and database platforms including SQL Server
- Familiarity with source code management concepts using Azure DevOps or VSTS
- Experience with Dynamics creating plug-ins, custom workflow activities, XAML workflows, web services, and the use of the Dynamics 365 SDK
- Experience and/or knowledge of Dynamics 365 and the O365 platform as it pertains to feature sets that integrate with Dynamics solutions, including SharePoint, MS Office, Biztalk, and OneDrive/OneNote
- Familiarity with and experience working with Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) and code deployments
- Familiarity with and experience working with Azure or similar cloud services
- Familiar with creating dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Understanding of the common data model and security model and mechanisms to extend and build new data relationships
- The ability to envision and document a solution architecture and application designs
- Bachelor s or master s degree in a technology/business/engineering/computer science related degree
- At least 5 years work experience in a technical development role and at least 2 years working with Dynamics 365 CRM
This will be a long term contract opportunity. The initial engagement will be 12 months, with the possibility of extension as necessary for this project, or to potentially work on future projects. During the contract period, the hourly rate will be $90-$105/hr. (as a 1099 or C-2-C). We would also be willing to make you a W2 if you would prefer a different compensation model.
Location: The client would prefer candidates local to Northern Virginia or Chicago (near O Hare). If you live in either location, you would be required to be in the office 2 days/week. They would consider 100% remote great candidates, but you must be readily available and willing to travel to one of the main offices on a quarterly basis.
