Title: Workday Configuration

Description :-
Configuring workflows and approvals using delivered, UI-based editor tools. Designing and configuring service portals, widgets, and catalog items. Setting up user roles, groups, and permissions. Configuring integrations with external systems using pre-built connectors and APIs. Configuration allows users to customize software solution behavior and appearance to align with their organization's processes and workflows without the need for custom coding or development.
Responsible for Workday configuration of Talent and Leave & Absence Management business processes.
Workday configuration experience a required.
Expertise in several Workday modules strongly desired.
This career step requires senior level experience.
Configuration involves setting up and tailoring the functionality of SaaS and Enterprise-wide applications to meet specific business requirements without writing code.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- This includes tasks such as: Configuring tables, fields, and forms.
- Defining business rules, UI policies, and client scripts using the platform's graphical interface.
- Configuring workflows and approvals using delivered, UI-based editor tools.
- Designing and configuring service portals, widgets, and catalog items.
- Setting up user roles, groups, and permissions. Configuring integrations with external systems using pre-built connectors and APIs.
- Configuration allows users to customize software solution behavior and appearance to align with their organization's processes and workflows without the need for custom coding or development.
Requirements:
- Senior level technical expertise.
- Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT technologies.
- Extremely knowledgeable on one or more complex modules of the software application.
- Generally leads in a certain module(s).
- Must have advanced level relevant Software Certifications in area of discipline.
- 2 4 years of experience working with Workday Absence Management.
- Experience working alongside or integrating data from third-party leave vendors (e.g., Sedgwick).
- Strong understanding of leave data fields, time off plans, and configuration best practices.
- Experience supporting payroll and timekeeping teams with accurate absence-related data.
- Ability to ask the right configuration questions, especially regarding accrual timing and frequency.
- Experience working on leave compliance initiatives (e.g., state sick leave mandates).
- Workday report writing skills; BIRT experience is a plus.
- Preferred Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
Experience:
- Typically requires 5-8 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
