Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time an Early Career System Integration & Test Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA! As a Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will plan and execute the integration and test programs for various SMD programs by providing the programs with key technical solutions. Ability to occasionally support Second Shift (3 pm EST - 11 pm EST) is required.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
Develop test procedure, test plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
Review, evaluate and derive requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
Perform analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system-level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
Write discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or another related technical field from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of creating test procedures and test plans through coursework or experience.
Ability to support Second Shift (3 pm EST - 11 pm EST) is required.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

Local candidates highly preferred
Experience with board or box-level test planning, script creation, and test execution
Experience with electronics integration and test
Willing to occasionally work alternate shifts if needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
