Job Description: Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in desktop support, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of devices within a Windows-based infrastructure.
In addition to standard desktop responsibilities, the technician may assist with peripheral systems such as surveillance equipment, servers, and network hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, and related hardware
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and operating systems
  • Maintain and repair devices in a Windows environment
  • Assist with basic support for servers, network switches, and security systems
  • Deliver responsive customer service in a dynamic and sensitive setting

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions

Skills & Competencies

  • Desktop and service desk support
  • Hardware deployment and troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience with ticketing systems and application support
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized

Experience Level

  • Expert-level experience preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
