Payrate: $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Summary:
The ideal candidate for this MCS Associate, Quality Control role will hold a bachelor s degree in biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline, and bring hands-on exposure to aseptic techniques and microbiology practices, whether through academic research, internships, or industry settings. This is an onsite position requiring flexibility to occasionally work weekends or overtime, so strong motivation, teamwork, and local presence are essential. While the role is entry-level with some training provided, candidates with a background in aseptic handling and microbiology will stand out as top prospects.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine Microbiology laboratory procedures including Bioburden/Total Aerobic
  • Microbial Count, Biological Indicator testing, Growth Promotion testing of Microbiology media, Container Closure Integrity and Media Fill inspection
  • Documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, and entering data in Laboratory Information Management Systems
  • Maintaining and operating specialized equipment
  • Must learn and comply with safety guidelines and cGMPs/CFRs which include, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, building monitoring systems and laboratory logbooks.

  • Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, written procedures and safety guidelines
  • Ability to evaluate documentation/data according to company and regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to organize work, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements
  • Demonstrate understanding of regulatory requirements, safety guidelines and factors impacting
  • compliance
  • Demonstrates understanding of when and how to appropriately escalate.
  • May identify, recommend and implement improvements related to routine job functions

Must have Hard Skills:
  • Aseptic techniques - prior exposure to sterile methods or cleanroom practices.
  • Microbiology lab experience - handling cultures, testing, or related lab procedures.
  • Bachelor s degree in biology, Microbiology, or a related life science - academic foundation to support QC functions.

Must have soft skills:
  • Flexibility, Motivation, should be able to work in teams as well as work independently

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
