Role Java Developer
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Java programming, including a deep understanding of the Java EE ecosystem and experience with JSP, JavaScript, and custom tag libraries.
- Understanding of database integration within Java applications, possibly using JDBC or ORM frameworks.
- Strong grasp of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Experience in writing testable code and performing unit and integration testing.
- Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into application features.
- Skill in identifying performance bottlenecks and debugging issues.
- Proficiency in creating detailed design and technical documentation
Description:
The project includes both J2EE on AIX and IMS-DC on z/OS mainframe systems using DB2 and Oracle. J2EE applications are built using RAD, run on IBM WebSphere, utilize JSP/JavaScrpt/Custom Tag/EJBs technologies, implement Singleton, Factory and DAO design patterns, and communicate via AJAX, WebSphere MQ messaging, web services, and REST.
