Job Title: Conversational AI Designer

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Conversational AI Designer to create intuitive and engaging dialogue experiences for chatbots and voice assistants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centric design and experience in building natural, human-like conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design conversational flows and scripts for chatbots, voicebots, and virtual assistants.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX teams to define user journeys.

  • Use data and user feedback to refine and optimize conversation experiences.

  • Create and maintain conversation design documentation, personas, and tone of voice guidelines.

  • Ensure accessibility, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in conversational design, UX writing, or dialogue scripting.

  • Familiarity with tools like Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of natural language understanding (NLU) and voice user interface (VUI) principles.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and writing skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and iteratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI/NLP technologies or linguistics.

  • Exposure to analytics tools to track bot performance.

  • Background in UX design, human-computer interaction, or content strategy.
