Our team is growing, and we re searching for a FullStack Java Tech Lead who is a creative problem-solver with their fingertips on the latest industry practices to help our clients achieve digital realization. About this position

Java Tech Lead would be managing mostly onshore resources, but engaging and partnering with offshore teams, offshore vendor experience is a huge plpreferred.

Will be leading anywhere from 6-12 resources but may be pulled in to assist other areas/teams

Will be responsible for leading the team but also hands on developing and contributing on a daily basis

Angular versions: currently upgrading Angular, so angular knowledge in general is fine, no specific version needed, but should be 11 or above

Break down of full stack responsibilities could vary, could be 50-50 front vs. back end, but a lot of front end and API

AWS Cloud Services,experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and Splunk

Experience with Atlassian tool suite (bamboo, jira, confluence)

Experience modernizing UI/data applications are a huge plus

Responsibilities:

Coach and mentor Junior engineers, provide technical leadership and direction. Remove impediments and resolve challenging technical issues.

TL Description:We are expanding our full stack team to develop end-to-end capabilities for Participant Experience. We are developing greenfield applications using modern technologies and automated processes to provide stakeholders transparency into the program and deliver business value to our clients.

Our Tech leads provide expert level IT technical lead services, including the direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new and existing technologies and tools.In this role, you will:

1.Provide technical expertise and complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.

2.Ensure the viability of IT deliverables, recommending development options and approving the team's technical deliverables as well as conduct testing, including functionality, technical limitations, and security.

3.Identify potential solutions and approve technical solutions proposed by team members, elevating complex technical issues to IT experts.

4.Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, researching issues and performing root cause analysis as well as anticipate technology problems and prevent them.

5.Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and implications.

6.Evaluate the impacts of change requests on technologies and effectively persuades and influence others on ideas.

7.Maintain a current and solid understanding of IT development methodology, architecture design, and technical standards.

8.Mentor IT staff and identify training needs. As new standards are instituted, ensure their usage by team members.

9.Review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members.

10.Write documentation, including technical standards and processes.

11. Find opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.

12.Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout product life cycle to identify issues. Participate as a technical consultant at other project meetings.

13.Present technical status and issues at milestone reviews.

Qualifications:

Angular, nodejs, graphql, Java, spring boot, spring batch, aws, Apache web server, tomcat web server, nginx

Experience with technical leaders for end-to-end development (UI, services, testing and monitoring).

1. AWS Cloud Experience

2. Experience with the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular14-16, Splunk

3. Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo)

4. A growth mindset with the ability to try new things and a desire to modernize current technology.

5. Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of proven experience in full stack development.

6. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
