Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (Tosca) Location: Dallas, TX Only W2 and 10+ Contract Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Tosca and Selenium (Java). This is a long-term remote opportunity ideal for self-motivated professionals who thrive in Agile environments and are passionate about quality assurance and test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Tosca and Selenium (Java).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile settings to define testing scope and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Develop and maintain formal test plans, test cases, and defect tracking using industry-standard QA processes and tools.
  • Identify test cases suitable for automation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation framework.
  • Participate in performance and security testing initiatives.
  • Work independently to handle day-to-day QA decisions and proactively drive testing activities.
  • Provide clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Tosca and Selenium (Java) for test automation.
  • Strong Agile methodology experience, especially in web and mobile environments.
  • Proficient in test planning, defect management, and QA lifecycle.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and hands-on coding in Java.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies like Jenkins, UCD, Bitbucket, AngularJS, and React is a plus.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal QA experience within a Quality Management Office (QMO).
  • Prior exposure to QA tools for functional, performance, and test management.
