Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (Tosca) Location: Dallas, TX Only W2 and 10+ Contract Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Tosca and Selenium (Java). This is a long-term remote opportunity ideal for self-motivated professionals who thrive in Agile environments and are passionate about quality assurance and test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Tosca and Selenium (Java).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile settings to define testing scope and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Develop and maintain formal test plans, test cases, and defect tracking using industry-standard QA processes and tools.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation framework.
- Participate in performance and security testing initiatives.
- Work independently to handle day-to-day QA decisions and proactively drive testing activities.
- Provide clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Tosca and Selenium (Java) for test automation.
- Strong Agile methodology experience, especially in web and mobile environments.
- Proficient in test planning, defect management, and QA lifecycle.
- Experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and hands-on coding in Java.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies like Jenkins, UCD, Bitbucket, AngularJS, and React is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal QA experience within a Quality Management Office (QMO).
- Prior exposure to QA tools for functional, performance, and test management.
