Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager – Deployment Coordinator to lead the nationwide rollout of a large-scale practice management platform across a major U.S. veterinary healthcare network. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless, efficient, and scalable deployment across hundreds of locations. The Deployment Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute deployment activities that minimize disruptions and enhance the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deployment Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive deployment plans for thousands of locations nationwide, including scope, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Program Management, Product Management, Software Development, IT Infrastructure, Training, and Support teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of deployment activities.
- Testing Oversight: Ensure all required testing is completed during deployment to guarantee application stability and performance.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Track and resolve issues that arise during deployment, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles, implement mitigation strategies, and develop contingency plans to minimize downtime.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance standards throughout the deployment process.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support successful rollout.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on large-scale technology deployments.
- Proven track record of coordinating multi-site rollouts in healthcare, retail, or similar industries.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex timelines.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to manage risk and troubleshoot complex issues under tight timelines.
- Familiarity with compliance standards related to data security and privacy.
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
