  • Pay Range: $70.00 $75.00 per hour, based on experience and internal equity
  • Schedule: Full-time, contract; long-term opportunity

POSITION IS LOCATED IN DENTON / DALLAS, TX

Title: IT Project Manager

We re hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and drive complex IT initiatives across global teams. You ll work closely with architects and technical experts to coordinate every phase of the project lifecycle from planning and execution to transfer and closure. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and a solid grasp of enterprise IT systems.

Daily Tasks Performed:

  • Manage projects using ITS methodology
  • Oversee non-standard requests and define actionable responses with technical teams
  • Build and maintain project dashboards and submit proposals for management approval
  • Control project scope, budget (CAPEX/OPEX), timeline, and quality
  • Ensure all deliverables meet stakeholder and compliance expectations
  • Lead technical deployment and ensure a smooth handover to operations teams (TTO)
  • Manage vendor deliverables and track contractual commitments
  • Coordinate communications among cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Support a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility

What You'll Be Working On:

  • IT project planning and execution across infrastructure and applications
  • Coordination with network, security, database, and virtualization teams
  • Supporting enterprise architecture and IT governance frameworks
  • Resource allocation and budget adherence
  • Risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • 9+ years of IT experience and 9+ years in project management
  • Preferred certifications: PMP and ITIL
  • Expert-level skills in:
  • Project Management
  • Communication (written and verbal, English)
  • Advanced skills in:
  • MS Project or similar PM tools
  • Negotiation
  • Basic familiarity with:
  • Networking & Telecom (Cisco, MPLS/WAN)
  • IT Security (Palo Alto, Forcepoint)
  • VMware, NetApp, EMC
  • Backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
  • Active Directory & MS SQL
